I bought myself this rather unhappy looking red gooseberry, he cost the grand total of £2. I've cut off the dead bits and I will pot him up into a nice big pot later. Hopefully he will do well. I've never grown the red gooseberry before.
I will also finally plant out my geranium pretense.
Update: I potted him up. The compost is a bit wet and heavy but I think it will be OK. I put my foot in the photo so that you can see the size of the plant and its new pot.
