Corn snake babies.

I am so sorry that I haven’t updated everyone about the corn snake babies. My laptop (another one) died and looking after twenty baby snakes is really time consuming.

As I said above we got twenty healthy babies to hatch and we thought that we were done and had done really well getting so many eggs. Unfortunately we were not done and Butters got egg bound.

After over a month of trying to get the eggs out and her laying the odd egg in her viv we went to the vets and got the biggest egg, that was really stuck, out. After which she laid even more eggs a few days later. All together Butters laid 33 eggs, but the thirteen that got stuck were no good (despite one looking really healthy) and didn't hatch. Butters is absolutely fine now, eating and back to her normal self. I've sold all of the baby snakes apart from two dodgy eaters who aren't ready and one last Normal boy.

I also have even more news to add but perhaps not to this rather long post. We have gained seven more members to our furry, scaley and feathery family that I will tell you about in the next post.
