The garden in February.
The garden in February and what needs to be done.
- The first job that needs to be done is to remove the shed. It's been there for far too long now. It must be six months that the shed has languished there.
- Another job is to clean up the dog poop. Gak!
- Tidy up all of the debris, plant pots etc.
- And fill up all of the raised beds with more compost and set up the greenhouse. Today I filled the deep bed with a giant bag of compost (my valentines present :)) The bed is now full to the top. Once the soil has settled I'll sow my parsnip seeds.
I added a bag of farm yard manure (another valentines gift :)) to the side border. And I swept the path.
I'm slowly starting to wake up from my winter hibernation. Hopefully soon I'll start the insanity that is spring-time gardening.
