A lots been happening.

Well, I guess I have a lot to catch up on. On Wednesday at about 4-o-clock when we were out on a walk, Niche lost the use of her back legs, and then her eyes started moving left to right at speed. Her face was frozen in a rictus of horror. Assuming the worst we rushed to the vets with the OH carrying a completely immobile dog. When I got to the reception desk I managed to gasp through my tears that she was having a stoke.
I got rushed into a consultation room by a veterinary nurse and the vet turned up almost immediately. She gave Niche a thorough going over and told us that she isn't having a stroke, but she is having a problem with her inner ear and it is making her feel like she is really drunk.
Imagine the relief we felt. Now, apparently it's not a great thing to have happen as it is something that can recur. But it's not as bad as a stroke. And after some antibiotics and steroids my girl appears to be as good as new. (touch wood)

I've also been to the doctors and have been put on tablets to stop myself from getting a stomach alcer/heal my stomach ulcer. And we've put another home brewed wine on the go.

That's mac and cheese behind it, ignore that. This is our summer fruit wine. We sieved it through muslin twice

it's a mixture of five different fruits and berries.

Blackberry, raspberry, elderberry, plum and strawberry. It smelt amazing! It's now sitting next to the blackberry wine we made three days earlier and the two airlocks are plipping away quite happily.
